We have been going to this restaurant for 6-7 years most times when we visit NYC. As a Chinese food aficionado for over 60 years, a Chinatown veteran and a former NY native that misses his Chinese food in Florida, I can honestly say Pig Heaven, despite its unassuming name and appearance, is as good as you can get in NYC. Highly recommend the cold noodles with sesame, all the veggie dishes, especially the Brussels sprouts.everything is fresh, crisp and tasty - nothing disappoints. None of the sauces overwhelm the fresh ingredients of the dishes. Highly recommend!

10/8/25 We were in the neighborhood for an appointment and decided to stop for lunch. BBQ Ribs are delicious, most Chinese restaurant makes them but are usually tough but these were tender and so flavorful. I wish they were near home hehehe. Peking Duck, while it was super crispy outside and tender inside it was not seasoned. Without the hoisin sauce it would have been a waste of money... Bok Choy with Garlic is delicious, I wish I could make it this good hehehe. If we are ever in the area we would definitely go back. Lots of pig related decorations, cute! Hehehe

We got the ribs, pork soup dumplings, and pork chow fun. The dumplings were AMAZING, ribs were great too. Chow fun was good, though nothing particularly spectacular. Place was clean and staff was friendly. Great chinese restaurant!

With a name like Pig Heaven, I would not expect, as a vegetarian, to give this restaurant a good review. However, they have delicious vegetarian options. The waiter made a record of vegetables with pancakes. It was excellent. The background music was funny. Piano versions of Christmas carols - in August - without words. I would go back. It was a great experience

I came here with my mom and my younger sister for my birthday. It was amazing! The food is soo good! We had the Peking duck, pork fried rice, shrimp fried rice, beef lo mein, string beans and Japanese fried chicken. My sister loved how fresh everything was! The staff is nice and attentive. We’d definitely come back here for dinner!

I have to say I really enjoyed the food, atmosphere and very attentive service. From making sure my glass was always filled with water, to making crispy duck sandwiches for us right at the table. We ordered a whole duck along with Lo mein and fried rice and everything was delicious and authentic including the Japanese fried chicken appetizer. Its been a long time since I've had fried rice with egg cooked in it. Our server spoke highly of their spare ribs, so we'll definitely be back to try those. About the atmosphere, the restaurant is very nice, spacious, and has a classy, yet relaxed vibe. Bottom line, the food was beyond delicious, the service was the best and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. We will be back for sure
